Access Ambulance Service - Private Ambulance Service in Rhode Island

Gary Reis

A graduate of Tolman High School in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Gary Reis went on to earn a credential as an emergency medical technician at Community College of Rhode Island. Gary Reis leverages his training and experience as an entrepreneur to serve as president of Access Ambulance Service.

With headquarters at 290 Armistice Boulevard in Pawtucket, Access Ambulance Service relies on a fleet consisting of 49 ambulances located throughout both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. The company’s headquarters features a 24-hour call center equipped with a PBX phone system and a computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system that assigns each case an identification number. The CAD system allows the company to develop deployment plans and measure response time for improvement purposes.
Access Ambulance Service also benefits from having the same experienced management team as Med Tech Ambulance Service. Prepared for all emergencies, the company has a backup agreement with Stat South Coast and uses several redundant backup systems to ensure that callers can always reach the center.
